Turn it inside out before you wash it, print facing in. Wash with similar colors and keep it cold, 30°C at most. If your machine has a delicate cycle, the one made for linen or wool, use that instead of a regular colored wash. It's gentler on everything.
Don't iron over the print, and keep heat away in general. Let it air dry, out of the sun if you can.
Treat it like it's yours for a long time.
